RISE FOOTBALL
Eight weeks of preseason strength and conditioning — built to get athletes bigger, faster, and ready before the season starts.

All Positions, All Genders
The window between now and week one is short. RISE and Shine is eight weeks of preseason strength and conditioning designed to get athletes bigger, faster, and physically ready before the first snap — so they're not getting into shape during the season. They're already there.
RISE and Shine isn't general conditioning — it's targeted preparation. Our strength staff and position instructors evaluate every athlete individually and build training around what they actually need. No one guesses. No one gets overlooked. Every athlete trains with a plan..
Athletes begin with a pre-program evaluation measuring speed, strength, mobility, and movement. At the end of eight weeks, they go through a post-program evaluation across the same metrics. The improvement is documented. The work speaks for itself.
This isn't offseason recovery — it's preseason preparation. The season is less than 30 days away when RISE and Shine ends. Every session is designed to build the strength, conditioning, and physical resilience athletes need to compete through a full tackle season.
Darryl Valdez serves as our master trainer for all of SAQ programs. With over 10 yrs of experience in personal training and athletic development, Darryl works with athletes across the full spectrum — from youth competitors to professionals — bringing the same standard to every level.
With a degree in exercise science and multiple certifications to include USATF & NASM, Darryl writes all strength programming used within RISE. His athletes have gone on to compete at the highest levels and have credited his training as direct preparation for college level programs. He's not just a trainer. He's a developer of athletes.

RISE and Shine is an eight-week preseason strength and conditioning program for all youth & high school athletes. Training runs Wednesdays and Fridays, 1pm to 3pm, at RISE Football Academy.
Every session is built around what athletes need to perform — and to stay healthy. Our strength staff and position instructors evaluate each athlete's starting point, then train toward it.
Speed, Agility & Quickness SAQ training is at the core of every session — footwork, first step, change of direction, and the explosive movement skills that separate athletes on the field.
Strength & Conditioning Core, balance, power, resistance, and cardiorespiratory training combined to build the physical foundation athletes need to endure a full tackle season.
Position-Specific Development Every athlete trains with position-specific instructors. The work is tailored to what their position demands — because development isn't one-size-fits-all.
Injury Prevention & Recovery Training is designed to build athletes up, not break them down. Proper nutrition guidance, smart programming, and attention to movement quality keep athletes healthy from week one to game one.

Every RISE instructor is USA Football certified and background-checked. Athletes are placed in age-appropriate divisions from 6U through 14U — competing against their peers, at their level, every time.
Every athlete trains with instructors who've competed at the highest levels—former college players, college coaches, and high school coaches who understand the game because they've lived it.
Our philosophy is built on three principles that define how we develop teams:
Football is the ultimate team game. Teams receive coaching together while competing against elite competition, building the chemistry and brotherhood needed to succeed on the field and in life.
If you love football, you're all in—disciplined in the classroom, relentless in training, accountable to your team, and demanding to be coached hard. Give yourself to the game, and you'll be rewarded with the intangibles to succeed in every walk of life.
Developing good habits and fundamentals is vital not just in football but in life. We use football as the instrument to teach lifelong skills in a competitive environment, free from the constraints of failure.
